Yesterday is a 3D Puzzle Game talking about the philosophy of love and encounter from female's perspective, which developed by Triple Tree Studio. Encounter is not easy. You need right place, right time and the right person, just like how you’ll feel in this game. In real life, we cannot go back to the past, and space cannot be distorted. But in here, where dreams mix with reality, time and space interweave together, you can. We try to explore this abstract concept through a relatively tangible way: “Variable Axial Rubik’s Cube”.
In this game, the boy and the girl stand on different spots of the irregular cube groups. Players play as the girl try to encounter with the boy through moving and rotating. The core gameplay is really elegant. You can move on the same plane of connected cubes, or rotate cubes based on where she stands. It’s also a story about loss. Every time you touch the illusion of the boy will refresh you a piece of memory with him. We have 7 chapters in total right now, each of them is about a different love topic with a corresponding sub-rule.

游戏玩法
游戏玩法可简单描述为变轴魔方,玩家可以控制女孩在相连方块的同一平面上行走,并以其脚下所在方块为轴心转动三个轴向上的同层方块,最终使女孩与男孩相遇。高度自由灵活的玩法使得每个谜题都有无数种解,玩家的每一步选择都至关重要。随着游戏难度增加,每一章都会有一个符合该章节主题的子规则作为额外的限制因素。关卡完成后玩家会获得类似记忆碎片的物品,通过这些物品可以逐步拼凑出整个故事。
