One player wears VR headset and is positioned with a gun in the center of a large play area. Other players (up to 3 others) control NPC character models with controller and spawn within a crowd of computer-controlled characters.
Pixel Gear是一个有着卡通风格场景和怪物的3D像素游戏，通过用HTC Vive手柄来操作武器，玩家可以保护自己以及攻击敌人。
当每次消灭了敌人后，玩家会赢得金钱和积分而升级武器。
1. 收集鬼魂，收集被消灭的敌人的鬼魂。
2. 子弹时间，减慢速度，甚至能冻结时间。
3. 升级，武器升级以及解锁更多鬼魂。
游戏另一大特色是其多人本地模式，支持最多4人一起在本机游玩。
一人使用HTC VIVE头盔作为守护者，对抗其他3名玩家。
3名玩家使用键盘或手柄进行控制，扮演成和NPC一样的怪物或道具，趁VR玩家不注意悄悄移动偷取金币。可以使用复制，变身等功能作为辅助手段。
当被击中后会有一段时间等待队友救援。
而VR玩家需要从周围大量各式各样的道具和怪物中分辨出谁是偷金币的玩家并将其击毙。
实际体验的玩家都觉得非常有趣，笑声不断，适合和家人、朋友一起体验游戏的纯真乐趣。
