Psychological Espionage Multiplayer Action GameIn a crowd of NPC, players become the special agent, who have to find and kill each other, to complete their mission.
To avoid to be detected, disguise and mimic as civilian.
You can find through searching the database of “Company”, with the camera of your phone. But without that, there is a better way to find them: seeing their behavior.
You need to evade from local police, also. (As always, should you be caught or killed, the “Company” will disavow any knowledge of your actions.)
You will be provided many types of weapons from local asset. Use those wisely.
Reading the intent of enemy is key.In fact, watching the other players, while they don't know that, is very funny and exciting experience! Feel the emotions of enemy players through behavior of them. It's really sweet. We can guarantee that :D!
- When enemy want avoid you, they will walk away from you, while their eyes are maybe toward you, in most cases. (You can see that in the movie above, 1:23)
- If they come to you by straight, that means they have a strong confidence. Ready to fight or to evade. (3:17)
- If their walking looks in confused, they did not decide to engage or not.
- If someone continues to use the phone again and again, that means they are player character who is focusing to search the other PC. Avoiding for sight of enemy, walk close and attack behind.
Chain of ambushes: When will you start to fight?This situation is cool, too. If you play this game, you can experience this in much more times than the other action games.
- When you begin to attack, your appearance and identity is revealed. So timing of attack is very important.
- Because this, many of players may prefer ambush. Problem is when you start to attack.
- The good situation and good timing to attack, is usually good for the other players, also. So In many cases, when combat begins, suddenly many player character could reveal themselves near same position, at once.
- If you have enough patient, perception, and wisdom, you can be the last winner in the fight within this fight. You could get the multiple kill easily in these situations.
Get the weapon from local allies: But in secretly.Are you familiar with the espionage movie or tv shows? Then you should know and love this.
- There are local allies, they are NPC who will carrying big box or bag. There are some exception, but in most case, that is the case that carrying the weapon.
- You can get the weapons by rendezvous with them. It has to be done carefully. Or not, the other players will find you by that.
- I know that you will image the bench, two mysterious men, pushing the case in carefully... We made that almost. But with many reason( limited resources, schedule, priority, stability... ) we decided to get rid of that at greenlight version. If you support us, we can put in that:).
Gun casesWe would have the intent to express weapons in more various way. In frankly, submachine guns in many games were not expressed in a proper way, in our thought at least. (Yeah, we love small firearms!) So, we made-
- When you got a big and powerful guns and when you disguised as civilian, that guns expressed as the gun case. Yeah, same as a box that local allies carrying. It's high risk. But you can get high return. The Powerful gun itself.
- You can use your gun case as decoy. Many of player want to find powerful weapon, then they will close to who got gun case. If someone is walking close straight with using phone, just shoot. You can get kill easily, and also you can give them surprise. You cannot resist to laugh.
- On the other hand, default weapons and small weapons don't change the appearance of your player character. Your character have the ability to hide those weapons into clothes. It's low risk, and low return. But if you use those wisely, that's much more efficient.
- I know that you will image the suitcase with a cool and mysterious appearance, or the gun case with heavy and professional mood. We want to those, too. But in version at now, we could use just that metal case, you can see in the movie above. We have the plan to change those soon.
Use your environment, more active!
- There are local police NPCs. At now, you can see them whose head is helmet. (We will replace them soon.) They will chase and attack player characters, who revealed their appearance. If your enemy is surrounded with police but you are not, just shoot. You can kill easily and get a special funny:)
- This game is not about the fair. This game is about the trick. In ordinary games, camping in darkness could be bad thing. But in this game, that's good strategy.
- Monopolizing weapons is good strategy, too. If you can does that without witness. Yes, you can kill all witness, too. If you're good action game player!
- If you feel that someone trying to use the phone to you for searching agency database, then walk into crowd NPCs. That enemy agent cannot aim you, and that agent will search the innocent NPC, instead of you:) And feel their anger with sweet!
HISTORY
We started to make this game three years ago. After playing the multiplayer of Watch Dogs, we're fascinated for that. But at then, we wanted more. We wanted that the role doesn't fixed, the continuity to play, the various and active and interesting NPC environment, the strategic using of weapons, and good tempo as multiplayer action game.
We made the simple prototype in early 2015. But we had to do the other job and works, so we could not focus at this game in not short time. In those times, we tried to think about it and do what we can even small. We found lots of games with similar gene. The ship, Spy Party, and Hidden in Plain Sight, etc. Some of us are deep fan of HITMAN, Assassin's Creed, Metal Gear Solid, Deus Ex, Thief, too. (But we didn't want to make traditional stealth infiltration game.) After some time, we met the Watch Dogs 2 and the Last Man standing. Those were good too, but those game are different with our goal and vision.
In late of 2016, we had a chance to launch what we made as independent game. We made more detailed prototype, and we met more good people to make this game. With some luck, we can do a test play with good people near us. (Movie above is made with that.)
And we are at start line like this. At now, the prototype we got has very simple and small, but it has a large potential. And we have cool and ambitious plan. For that, we need support of you. We want to share the fun that we felt, and we want to share exciting vision that we see with you.
Early alpha phase at now, and vision beyond this
Actually, the movie above is made with the version of last year. So almost of those are temporary. In specially, visual stuffs.
At now, we're working about new appearance of characters (all NPCs and PC), new animation and effect, new art, new UI. We have the plan to release new early access version you can play, until May this year as Steam Greenlight launch. In sure, after that, we will continue to make and add the other cool stuffs in this game.
Our vision is larger than what you could image. More detailed behavior of NPC, Many special player characters and special ability, equipment, gadgets, special weapons. Even some permanent large and open world, and safe house, secret bases, mysterious orgs and agency, conspiracy, near future technology, etc. I will tell you about these soon. |
